How to complete your first iCOR audit
This article will cover how to start and complete your first audit within iCOR.
From the left panel, open either the Health & Safety or Environmental module (depending on your subscription and which audit you would like to complete). For this example, we have selected Health and Safety (you can see the environmental module above). Once you click on it, it will expand to reveal options specific to the module. At the bottom of the list, you can select ‘Start New Audit’.
Review the advisory guidance and select Start Audit to begin.

If you have already started an audit, the option to continue from where you left off can be found on the Site Dashboard.
All Site Controllers can perform and contribute to an open audit, but only one user can answer questions at a time to avoid duplicate or conflicting answers. The audit will lock if another user is currently performing an audit.
A welcome screen summarises what to expect during the audit. Certain sections of questions will also have introductory slides such as this to provide further information.
Clicking “Next” will proceed to the first question in the audit.

Each question is provided with multiple response options. Ensure you read the question and the potential answers carefully to select the correct option.
- The progress bar along the top of the audit will show you how far through the audit you are. Depending on your answers, this will adjust and you may skip forward if the audit determines some sections as not being relevant.
- You can click ‘Back to Site’ if you need to stop your audit, but plan to come back and pick up where you left off. iCOR will remember your progress.
- If you click ‘Cancel Audit’, all your answers will be reset and you will have to start the audit again from the beginning.
- A notice bar may appear on some questions after your first audit to highlight that we may have changed the wording or meaning of the question since it was last answered, and it should be read carefully before proceeding.
- For most questions, there is also a ‘More Information’ button that can be clicked to reveal further explanation for the question. For some questions, where it is important to have context, it will be automatically opened for your attention.
If you are unsure how to answer, select “I don’t know” to flag the item for follow-up. This will raise an ‘Observation’ that you didn’t know the answer at the time, and you’ll be able to set an action to resolve it before the next audit. You can click it again to reveal the standard response options, if you change your mind.
Note: If you lose internet connection or your battery fails, iCOR will remember your progress and you can pick up from where you left off.
When all questions are answered, select “Complete Audit” to finalise your responses and return to the site dashboard.
