Exporting your register
This article will cover exporting your register for your records and communication purposes.
This option is useful to communicate parts of the legal register that are more relevant for certain operational areas or teams, but be aware that exports will become out of date within a month, and your most current and up-to-date legal register will always be held within iCOR.

Your legal register is exportable. There are a few options to choose from to generate a legal register version that is most applicable to your needs. Click on 'Export Register' to reveal these options.

The options you choose will depend on what you need to be included within your register. You can choose:
- What would you like to export?
- Choose 'Export the whole register' to export all of the legislation within your current iCOR legal register.
- Choose 'Pick legislation to export' to choose individual headings or legislation items to export. (See below for more information)
- Include in export:
- Choose 'Audit items' to include the non-conformities, observations, uploaded evidence information alongside each piece of legislation. For security reasons, these will not link to your iCOR account pages or uploaded evidence within the exported document.
- Choose 'As amended by section' to include the drop-down list of legislation that amends the entry in your legal register. Please note that this list can be very long and take up a lot of space in the exported document, and so is turned off by default.
- Choose export format:
- PDF: This will generate a styled PDF of your register with the selected information. This document is immediately ready to share.
- CSV: This will generate the raw data in a format that's ready for Excel. It's not designed for communications, but helpful if specific information needs to be extracted from the register.

If you want to choose specific pieces of legislation, or topics of legislation to export:
- First, choose 'Pick legislation to export' from the first radio buttons.
- You can choose whole aspects by ticking the boxes next to the aspect title. This will export all legislation included within this aspect.
- You can look at and select individual pieces of legislation by clicking the required 'Show items' button alongside the aspect. Clicking 'Hide items' will collapse this list again.
- Tick the individual pieces of legislation to export them.
You can then continue with the steps detailed above to export your legal register.
It is important to note that the legislation exported will always be limited to the legislation within your register, it does not select legislation from the full legal database.
